  • Its a beautiful village surrounded by hills.Palungil sivanarayana temple is very unique.It belongs to Killimangalam Mana.Has 3 sivas in 3 different sanctumsanctoram and one Vishnu as Narasimha.the vishnu temple which is called Thekke Thevar and one of the Siva know as Vadakke Thevar are in two circular sanctumsanctoram and may have been buit either in the late 16th century or early 17th.The temple is open to any cast and religion proveded the devotees adhere to the rules of the temple.Often theatre people and the friends ,from Europe and the Us, of Killimangalam mana commission Kathakali,Kutiyattam,Mohiniyattam the Kerala classical performing arts at the temple.
  • It is the place with a number of Kaavu - (Small Temples). The most popular among them is Angadi Kaavu. There are others such as Cholamma Kavu, & Panankungathu Kaavu.

  • Killimangalam is one of the best villages in Kerala where corruption is yet to reach - Most of the places in Kerala are trapped by the latest trends in deception and it is extremely encouraging to know Killimangalam is not yet! There are many Killimangalam-ians abroad and they all long for long to reach back to the fresh Killimangalam life!
