Initially built in 1876 as Palace and Cafe Habermann by the wealthy brewerer Johann Habermann (only the central and east wing).
In 1914 a new west wing is built, named Hotel Europa. Since 1923 the whole complex was renamed Bulevard Hotel, name kept untill 2007.
In 1933 it reopens after extensive renovation works, and in 1937 the hotel is completely renovated, acquiring a unitary facade. The new facade gained at the 2006-07 renovation, combines architectural elements from it's past stages of construction, Neoclassical and Art Nouveau.
