The Amtrak code for Kemper Street Station in Lynchburg, VA is LYH.

Three-story structure built in 1912 for Southern Railway. Originally a bridge from street level extended over tracks to stairs leading to the platforms. Major renovation in 2002 converted lower level from freight use to passenger station for Amtrak, allowing Greyhound Bus Lines to move in to the street level space.

Beginning October 1, 2009, Lynchburg will be serviced by four trains per day: two each from Amtrak's "Crescent" and "Northeast Regional" passenger trains.
