On 19 July 1900, the Convent crafts practical school “Diligence” (now the Sailors' Club), known as home „Mother“, was opened. The author of the project is the French Arch. Henry Pierre. By building the school, the Female Charity Society „Mother“ aims to support poor widows, orphans, efficient students from poor families, to open and maintain an orphanage and school.The initial volume of the building is single-deck. In 1914 it was upgraded with second floor and was electrified. In 1932 was built a school gymnasium with a stage in the yard, and 5 years later it was extended with two more classrooms.The architecture of the building is Neo-renaissance with a strictly symmetrical composition and a three-symmetrical main facade.
