Johnson Hagood Stadium, named for Brigadier General Johnson Hagood, is a 21,000-seat football stadium in Charleston, South Carolina. The stadium opened in 1948 and was eventually purchased by The Citadel from the city of Charleston in 1963. Today it is home to the The Citadel Bulldogs football team. Presently, the stadium is under a major renovation to update the facility.
