Hard Rock Stadium (previously known as Sun Life Stadium, Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphin[s] Stadium, and Land Shark Stadium) is a football, lacrosse, soccer and baseball stadium. The stadium serves as host to the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes. Since its construction in 1987, there have been six Super Bowls (XXIII, XXIX, XXXIII, XLI, XLIV, LIV) and two World Series ('97 and '03) played in the stadium. The Orange Bowl Classic is now played here, the name coming from the now-demolished football stadium to the south, which hosted its last game in November 2007. The stadium underwent major renovations in 2015-2016 to modernize the stadium including adding a a cover over all seats with a rectangular opening in the middle to allow sunlight.
