St. Martin’s is a co-educational, comprehensive, foundation school for pupils aged 11 to 19 years. Designated by DfES (Government) in 2000 as a national Beacon school and in 2005 as a High-Performing Specialist School Specialising in: English, mathematics, technology, science, ICT and history.
St. Martin’s School is situated in a pleasant semi-rural environment with playing fields which extend to 30 acres. The fields on which the school is built were known as St. Martin’s Fields and although there is no official link with the church, we celebrate St. Martin’s Day in a local church.
