Point of major effluent discharges above DEP limits occurs here. Untreated sewage enters the Youghiogheny River, elevating BOD and coliform counts, and decreasing Dissolved Oxygen levels in the water. Local Government officials refuse to address this ongoing problem. See comments below.

  • Swewage overflows are polluting the river. This place needs closed down by the State DEP. The Eliz. twp. Sanitary Authority is a corrupt orgtanization, missing money, cost overruns, purchasing blunders, and overchaerges and excessive fees to users/residents. Something needs to be down, the authority needs State audited now, please....
