The Lagoon Pitch & Putt Course (Hove)

Council-owned 9-hole pitch & putt course. Always popular during the summer, especially with children, but it's been poorly tended in general since the old guy who had run the place for about 25 years retired in 2005.

Costs about £2.00 a round nowadays, and tees cost 5p each. If you ask the guy in the kiosk nicely for a proper golf ball, he'll give you one instead of those terrible "safety" balls (given out due to the fact that the course runs along a main road with only a 3-foot wall as a partition), which are less dense and never go where you aim them. Beware, however, of hooking or slicing the ball, because you will probably cause a pile-up if you hit a car.
