Moosi reservoir falls under the gram panchayat of RC Puram. It is a newly inhabited village by the displaced people of SOLIPET due to the construction of MOOSI reservoir.

It is famous for RAM temple situated on the adjoining hilltop. It has a leged surrounding the life of a ram-bhakt who belongs to harijan caste. After many years of tapasya at Badrachalam, he returns to native village only to be rediculed by his fellow people.
In the course of time he earns respect of the villgers and finally plans for a SAMADHI for leaving his body, which he could not finish for some reason. the samadhi structure built on the hillock is still there.

He lived a life of sanyasin in the village collecting 'biksha' and ditributing it to children and animals. He lived on the hilltop in a stone structure constructed by himself. If anybody happens to touch it, he would construct a new one.

Everyyear RAMNAVAMI is celebrated at the temple.
