Guyed mast for FM/TV-broadcasting. Height: 481 meters, built 1998. Note candelabra arrangement at top, allowing several stations to be at the same height. Used by TV stations KDFW(4), WFAA(8), WFAA-D(9), and KDFW-D(35).

  • Of all the TV stations including the independents, in DFW area, WFAA is by far the cheapest when it comes to signal transmission. I live 8 miles by the crow fly of this station, and unless I am pin pointed at their tower, the signal pix-elates. Of course the cheap executives of this company want everyone to get this signal from the cable providers versus free air. And of course they keep decrepit sports staff as well. WFAA, not sure why I get so frustrated, you obviously aren't concerned about your customer viewership in DFW.
  • There isn't a home antenna amplified or not I can buy in N Fort Worth that won't give me trouble receiving wfaa channel 8.
