Currently the Pave Hawk ramp at Groom Lake. It was originally the first runway at Dreamland for the U-2 program before the base began to expand, at which time it was inactivated and repaved as the main taxiway.

  • at many occasions, you can see the MH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters that patrol the perimeter of the base on here
  • the black hawks are used for air security

  • It is very rare for them to send the Pave Hawks out to bother onlookers anymore (cost issues $$$).
