  • "Guard Post 1" was the main entry control point for the "operations" or "Technical" area of the AFS -- the restricted area consisting of the RADARs and command/control facilities. This guard post had a gate, a turnstile for pedestrian entry, and inside consisted of a small armory, bathroom, NCO security control desk.
