This is a nice quiet place with decent food at Disney prices. Ask for the grapes with your sandwich. They are tasty.

The thing that makes it cool is the location on the edge of the water and surrounded by the trees. Occasionally the ships come around and on a calm day you can converse with the passengers.

The canoes row by and ducks and birds are plentiful. The structure looks like a log cabin kinda thing and is nice backdrop.

It is usually not crowded, though it can get busy at meal times. Proximity to Winnie the Pooh and good kid meals make it a plus for tired parents and kids. There are some places further to the back that are moderately private and quiet for a quick cat nap, although the train comes close and sometimes blows the whistle. That'll wake you up fast!

  • "Usually not crowded?!?" Sure - in the middle of February during a rainstorm at 3:14 p.m.!
  • on a hot summer day, it is warm on the upper deck but nice and cool on the lower deck!
