This 167-acre lake has a five-mile shoreline trail (the Noland Trail) with fourteen bridges. The lake was created by Archer Milton Huntington and his wife, sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington by the construction of a dam in the creation of the Mariner's Museum Park in 1931. The Lions Bridge sits atop the dam.
