Port Warwick is a mixed-use new urbanism development built on a 150-acre parcel in the Oyster Point area. It is a pedestrian-oriented community, the second largest planned community in Newport News (after Kiln Creek). It consists of residential condominiums and apartments, upscale shops, and restaurants.
Port Warwick is named after the fictional city in Newport News native William Styron's novel, Lie Down in Darkness.
