park, recreation area / ground, trail
Managed by Douglas County, Bluffs Regional Park provides a hiking trail and open space for the residents of Lone Tree and nearby Highlands Ranch. The unpaved trail is open for running, hiking, bicycling, and horseriding, and provides a considerable amount of elevation gain/drop to physically challenge most persons. The trail currently connects to the nearby North/South trail that runs along the dividing line between Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch, and in the future will connect to several other trails currently under development or planned for development.
Two different lookout points provide expansive views of downtown Denver, the Denver Tech Center, and the front range of the Rocky Mountains.
