The Heritage Conservation Committee of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation is planning to open the Town Hall to the general public from May 1, 2014. Built 400 years ago by Malik Ambar, the Town Hall had served as an important office. Till recently, the hall served as the venue for general body meetings of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation. The premises have remained closed after the AMC built a new hall.
