Under the scheme of government of Maharashtra to allow the private education societies to run the Polytechnics, the Government of Maharashtra and Director of Technical Education have given us permission to start POLYTECHNIC form the academic session 1994 - 95 on No-Grant-basis. The institute is recognized by the Director of Technical Education Maharashtra. State and A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi. It is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai.

Hon'ble Prof. Yergude being an educationist, has got an exceptional foresight for bringing about intellectual awakening and transformation in social, educational, economic and cultural field of the Vidarbha region.

Our society is like a joint family of about 800 students, about 80 qualified & skilled staff members and our Hon'ble chairman & secretary being the key persons of the family.

Glorious Achievements:

In MSBTE Annual exam of April 2004 two of Electrical Final year students, Mr. Arif Khan Pathan & Mr. Bhushan Yergude stood 2nd & 3rd Merit in Maharashtra State level Merit list of MSBTE, Mumbai and are felicitated at Mumbai with Silver & Bronze Medal by hands of Technical Edu. Minister & Guardian Minister.
1996-97: In MSBTE Annual Exam of April 1997, all students of very first batch of Mech. Engg. Got 1st class out of which four students got distinction.

1999-00: In MSBTE Annual Exam of April 2000, Four students of third year Mech. Engg., Two students from ET third year got distinction.

And Mr Brijbhshan Agrawal (ET Ist Yr) obtained 100/100 marks in Applied Mathematics & thus got GOLD MEDAL with grand success.
2000-01: Two girls from ET 2nd Yr Ku. Bharti Kalambe & Ku. Yogita borole got distinction & Mr. Sourab Ranjan fron ET 1st Yr got 97 marks out 100 in Applied Mathematics.

2001-02: Students passed with distinction from all the branches. The students are Mr. Kunal Dhote ME 3rd Yr, Ku. Yogita Borole ET 3rd Yr & Mr. Ajay Shende EE 3rd Yr.

2002-03: In this year our students got glittering success, Mr. Vivek Turankar & Mr. Jaidep Singewar from ME 3rd Yr & Mr. Hiresh Raikwar ET 3rd Yr got 77.08%, 76.47%, 71.52% respectively.

2003-04: Mr. Arif Khan Pathan (82.46%) & Mr. Bhushan Yergude (81.38%) stood 2nd & 3rd Merit in Maharashtra state.Also Mr. Rakesh Bepari ME 3rd Yr got 81.62% with sparkling success
