  • Originally, this was the carriage house. It was later converted to living quarters for the family after P.A.B. Widener died. The seminary converted the building into student housing. It was basically abandoned by the 1980's, except for the grounds keeper, who lived there until around 2000. The servant's quarters were another building that was located along the driveway that parallels Spring Avenue. It was torn down sometime before WWII.
