A group of optometrists founded Vision Service Plan(VSP) in September of 1955 in Oakland, California. Today, the headquarters are in Rancho Cordova, a suburb of Sacramento, California. VSP consistently receives awards for customer satisfaction and also for being one of the best places to work in the country. In addition to being home to VSP's executive offices, the headquarters also houses their large Customer Service Department, VSP Labs, Altair Eyewear, and Eyefinity.
