Officially opened in 2005, this campus was built at a cost of nearly RM120 million. This world-class facility is committed to producing UK standard graduates with international backgrounds in an "truly" Asian environment. Situated in the heart of darkness, more than 3 km from the village of Semenyih, the campus is built in the middle of nowhere (or somewhere in an oil palm plantation). This plot of land is known to be haunted as it was long ago the site of atrocious killings and also used as a Japanese cemetery. In addition, unlike The University of Nottingham in Nottingham, the Malaysia campus is not a public institution, and that is why the fees charged is astronomical.

  • My daughter is studying in this place..really beautiful and nice campus. Fees are quite high but academic standards are high too..much better than our local public universities. All courses are taught in English and the Malaysian government send many of their bright students here to get a good UK education. My daughter is here on a Malaysian Public Service Department scholarship, and she was aslo awarded a grant(quite a handsome sum)from a UK based foundation. I visit the campus regularly and is really impressed with its set-up.
