  • What is a "terrain"? The word seems to be being used differently than in the United States.
  • I think you'll find this is in fact an anti-missile battery. All threats to the facility are (rightly) seen as coming from the generally Northern approaches (Russia/China/North Korea)
  • probaly old security perimeter, looks now to be used to dump scraped materials. doesnt look like a launch site. @Peteking, the would have flown 1000 miles over the country, at wich they would have been detected long before reaching Pine Gap, And againt a nuclear missile no SAM can defend. so i dont think it's part of Air Defenses around Pine Gap.
