  Hi - both of the photos here are of geysers other than Grotto. The large non-erupting cone is Giant Geyser, about 400 feet south of Grotto Geyser. The photo of the erupting cone, which is an excellent photo by the way, is an eruption of Rocket Geyser, which is less frequent and almost completely unpredictable. Grotto's quieter cone appears to the right of Rocket. Rocket and Grotto are only about 40 feet apart, and their plumbing systems are intimately joined underground.
