Leprosy Rehabilitation Centre which also cares for the destitute functioning since 1967 run by Salesians of Don Bosco as part of Don Bosco Beatitudes Social Welfare Centre(www.dbbeatitudes.org). Having started with 435 leprosy afflicted residents today it caters to 135 and close to 200 have spent their last years under palliative care and burried in the cemetry within the complex. A lush 40 acre coconunt grove and peaceful surroundings brings unimaginable peace to anyone who cares to enter it. Memisa charitable Dispensary attached to this work specialises in skin care and also reaches out to general ailments as well. Floor operations handled by Nuns of St.Charles Borromeo.
