bairam baba caves are the oldest caves in ghugus.These caves are related and connected to mahakali temple chandrapur,bhadravati nag well and shirpur shiv temple.according to some senior citizens in ghugus,bairam bada was a relative of gond king and was forced to leave chandrapur and take shelter in a cave in ghugus(which was completely dense forest that time).he was a shiv bhakt and according to some people in ghugus they can still see in sometimes in the outskirts of ghughus riding on a horseback,dressed in royal white dress with sword.he is also called as saviour of the village. adivasis like gond and govari,pardhan still come to this caves and offer prayers when a new baby is born,as a matter of offering the slotter a bird(cock) or a goat.
