USA / New Jersey / West New York / New York City, New York / East 15th Street, 215
 pension (lodging), hostel

5-story (including raised basement) lodging house originally completed in the mid-1800s as a townhouse. It operated as a boarding house by the late 1800s, and is now owned by Friends Seminary and run as a hostel for short-term visitors. The facade is clad in brownstone, with a high stoop on the left. It has cast-iron handrailings, with a matching gate and low fence in front, and also at the parlor floor balcony. Next to the stoop are two basement windows.

The entrance has updated wood-and-glass double-doors and a transom in a beveled surround. There are two tall parlor-floor windows to the right, with a balcony railing. The upper floors have three bays of single-windows also in beveled surrounds, and each surround is topped by a cornice. Wide, iron fire escape landings span each of the upper floors, wrapping around the southeast corner to the actual fire escape at the front of the east elevation. This facade is clad in brick and has three bays of single-windows on the upper floors (with an extra window at the rear of the top floor). There are also basement windows, and a parlor-floor entrance in the middle of the facade, atop a metal patio.
