Otherwise known as the 'Deal Test Site' (sold by the orignal owners to AT&T Bell Labs and then to the Army) to longtime residents, it was reserved by the local government for park grounds. It has been upgraded through the years, now has at least 4 soccer fields, two baseball (or softball) fields, a 3 plus mile paved bike trail and plenty of side trails to explore. Behind it, reachable via bike trail, along Deal Rd is the new Ocean Township Library.
