Public Gardens (commonly known as Bagh E Awaam) is one of the city's oldest and largest garden is located in the center of the city. It was built in the year 1846 by Nizam Government for the benefit of the people hence the name. It is located in the heart of the city.

Public Gardens is home to some major landmarks in Hyderabad like the AP Legislative Assembly, the famous Jubilee Hall, AP State Archaeology Museum, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Lalita Kala Thoranam, Jawahar Bal Bhavan, and a beautiful large masjid are located inside this park.

The Park is celebrated especially amongst the children because a children's train takes the visitors around this wonderful park. Children of the city are very fond of this place.

Timing : 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and 2.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M. Open Every day (Except Friday).
