Former location for Caflisch Auto & Truck Repair until late-September 2006, it was relocated to 600 South Boulevard and reopened around early-October 2006. That building was demolished around 2008. It is now a small park, opened on April 9, 2010 at 8:45am as Pocket Park. It was renamed to Nanny Park on September 13, 2014 by mayor Patrick Liston, to honor the late Baraboo resident Annette George (born Annette Delores Leibenstein on December 8, 1914 in Random Lake – died April 2, 2004 in Baraboo), who was widely known as "Nan" or "Nanny." Construction of the park was was $60,000 (roughly $88,454 in today's money).

Nanny Park is a small pocket park located in downtown Baraboo. Close enough to not have to go out of your way, while shopping, to let the kid’s burn off some energy. There is a nice playground with plenty of seating around to get comfortable while watching your kids play.

Also check out the Little Free Library which is located at the east side of the park, along Oak Street. It is a red box that looks like a circus wagon. Take a book, leave a book. Click on the Little Free Library on the map for more information.
