This is the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The area provides a beautiful landscape of post-glacial geology, including kettles and moraines and various other natural features. The State Forest hosts an interpretive center and many trails for hiking or mountain biking. The area is a popular destination for motorcyclists from Milwaukee and Chicago, as well as a popular hunting area for small game, waterfowl, deer, and pheasants.
