The only level crossing on the Chingford Line. Until 2002 it was operated by the signal box next to the crossing, however it is nmow controlled from an office at Liverpool Street Station.

On this satelite picture the crossing is closed, and a long line of traffic is waiting at either side. However there are no trains shown on the map between Wood Street or Chingford. This is either due to a join in the satelite picture or because the crossing was closed all day for maintainence. (written June 2007)
