157-foot, 16-story mid-century modern cooperative-apartment building completed in 1956. Designed by Irwin J. Berger, it is clad in off-white brick above a ground floor of grey-green marble. The southern four bays of the facade (out of 10 total) project out slightly from the rest, up to a setback above the 13th floor. The main entrance is recessed in the northern projecting bay, with steel-framed glass double-doors and wide sidelights below a black canopy extending out over the sidewalk. There is a parking garage entrance at the far north end, and two black metal service doors (one in the 5th bay from the north, and one set between two of the southern bays), along with some planters and a small basement areaway next to the garage openings.

The upper floors have three bays of tripartite windows and a double-window bay at the south section, while the north has a mix of three of each, all set in aluminum framing. Air-conditioning vents are cut below the tripartite windows. The northern four bays also have a setback above the 13th floor. The 16th floor is set back as well, and topped by a water tower enclosure. There are terraces created by the setbacks.

The north facade above the adjoining building has four bays of single-windows, setting back above the 13th floor. The building contains 128 apartments.
