131-foot, 12-story Neo-Renaissance residential building completed in 1924. Designed by Walker & Gillette, it is clad in red stucco above a 3-story rusticated limestone base. It is slightly setback from the block's building line and has a small, one-step-up entrance with wood-and-glass double-doors and a fanlight below a rounded, green canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. The doors are flanked by a pair of Corinthian columns supporting an entablature with flowers at each end, and a dentiled cornice surmounted by cast-iron cresting. These are all further framed by sturdy, engaged 2-story pilasters framing a recessed double-window at the 2nd floor, with a larger entablature and cornice below the middle of the 3rd floor.
The rest of the facade has wide single-window end bays, next to which are small bathroom windows, and four single-window bays in the center. At the ground floor there is a small, low basement entrance at the north end, set down a steep set of steps. The 3-story base is capped by a stone cornice, and there are air-conditioning vents cut below the two middle bays as well as at the edges of the facade, where the brick upper floors are edged in stone. The facade is crowned by a white metal roof cornice with a frieze of triglyphs, with a pair of tall brick chimneys rising above the roof.
The building was converted from apartments to condominiums in 1991, with 43 units.
