5-story (including raised basement) Italianate residential building originally completed in 1860 as a twin to the building to the west, both of which originally had stoops and parlor-floor entrances. The facade is faced in brownstone, and there is now a ground-level entrance on the left, down a few steps from the sidewalk, with a black wood-and-glass door and sidelight set in a stone molding. To the right are two segmental-arched windows.

The upper floors have three bays of single-windows with simple stone sills, growing shorter at each floor. The western window at the 2nd floor was originally the parlor-floor entrance, and is shorter than the other two on this floor. An iron railing fronts the 2nd floor, and the facade is crowned by a brown metal roof cornice with elaborate console brackets, dentils, and ornamented panels.
