  • I always pass by this place and see the high walls and security all around the place...it gets me curios to know what is it like to live there

  • I lived here from 1977-1980 as an Army "brat"; my father was one of the USA officers responsible for building the King Abdul Aziz Military Academy. When we lived here, it was 10 miles outside the city and we had to use high-power diesel generators for power...there was nothing but open desert around us. The Marriott Hotel opened while we were here; we used to go buy newspapers from their gift shop.
