Factory was built in Piteshti by Japanese Dainippon in 1980. It's product was feed protein for animal husbandry. Production capacity waas 60 thousand tons of protein per year. Shortly after the launch, the plant was closed due to the high cost of raw materials - highly refined petroleum paraffins.
