Apple's 5th Avenue store is the only 24-hour Apple Retail Store in the world. Located at 5th Avenue and 59th Street, its entrance is a distinctive glass cube. The interior was renovated in 2019 by Foster + Partners.

The Apple Store entrance is a 32 ft. by 32 ft. by 32 ft. glass cube, likened to the Louvre Pyramid, and descent into the store is made via a glass elevator or a treaded spiral staircase surrounding it. This addition was designed by Apple and the firm of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. The plaza and Apple Store were rebuilt in 2017, doubling the retail space's size.

  • The glass cube of the 5th Avenue Apple Store has been redesigned and reopened on Nov 4, 2011. The fassade consists of only 15 glass panels now, as opposed to 90 panels before.
