The Upper Village is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. The Wizard Chair is usually the fastest way to get up Blackcomb Mountain. There is also an area for beginner skiers/snowboarders served by the Magic Chair. Its landmark building is the Chateau Whistler, and the five-star vibe of this area has recently been enhanced by the addition of the Four Seasons. In the summer, this is the location of the Adventure Zone, where kids and adults can participate in activities as tame as mini-golf, or as adventurous as trapeze. The Sunday market features local produce and crafts.
