St. Columba Rectory (New York City, New York)

4-story (including raised basement) church rectory completed in 1845. It is clad in white-painted brick, with light-grey stone at the basement level. The west section has three bays of single-windows; the west bay is wider, and at the basement level it has a wooden door down several steps from the sidewalk, behind an iron railing. The basement windows have iron grilles, and there is a pale-red stone band across the top of the basement. The upper-floor windows have pale-red stone sills and lintels with a raised edge.

The smaller east section is set a little back, and has a parlor-floor entrance on the left, atop a a steep stoop, with a brown metal door set in a round arch. The floors above have a single-window at this bay. To the right is a projecting bay with angled sides, each with a round-arched single-window with a pale-red sill and lintel. The projecting bay is supported above the basement level by a pair of iron pillars. The facade is crowned by a white metal roof cornice with brackets, dentils, and panels, across both the west and east sections.

The west elevation is clad in tan brick with no openings. The rectory has a separate 2-story rear structure connected by a narrow covered walkway.
