Chikaldara, a hill station in Amravati district situated on a plateau at the height of 1118.13 meters above sea level surrounded by many picturesque valleys. From Amravati its distance is about 100 kms. On southeast of Chilakdara lies a fortress of Gawilgad at distance of 2.5 kms. According to Nur-ul-Berar, the hill station was discovered by Captain Robinson of the Hyderabad Contingent Battery in 1823.     hi, this is harshil patel from suryapur soc,surat.i visited "chikhalda" hill station in 2002 with my family & others.i like it too much.it is whole WILD LIFE CENTURY.it is house of many wild animals like-tiger,panther etc.it is really my great experience.i travell its forest.its very dark,nice & fearful.

    Hi. I visited Chikhaldara as a kid. It was Diwali and then the next day there was a Solar ecclipse. I could view the moon swallowing up the sun with the help of 3D glasses. During the time of Grahan, we were on a boat on the dam next to the MTDC resort. Can anyone please locate and mark the MTDC resort. Thanx.
