The Lalamilo Wells wind farm was owned and operated by Hawaii Electric Light Company (HELCO). Initially operational in 1986, it consisted of twenty-six 17.5 Kilowatt Jacobs turbines and fifty-five 20 Kilowatt Jacobs turbines, all on lattice towers. Total nameplate capacity of the wind farm was approximately 3.2 Megawatts. The farm was decommissioned in 2010.
In 2016, the farm was repowered with 5 newer Vestas V47/660 turbines, with a total nameplate capacity of 3.3 Megawatts. Current (2017) news reports state that this has happened, but the Google images are still lacking.
