Kama'oa Wind FarmThe Kama'oa wind farm was owned and operated by Apollo Energy Corporation and provided power to Hawaii Electric Light Company (HELCO). It consisted of thirty seven 250 Kilowatt Mistubishi turbines. Total output for the wind farm was approximately 7.5 Megawatts when it was running.
The Kama'oa wind farm is in disrepair and is currently shut down. It is being replaced by the Pakini Nui wind farm 1.2 miles to the southwest.
