Residence built c. 1909 for Charles Sumner "Sum" Woolworth who was brother of Frank Woolworth of the F.W. Woolworth five-and-dime store fame. The interior was decorated by Theo. Hofstatter & Co. After Charles' death, the mansion became part of the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Most recently, it was owned by the Lackawanna Institute.
