Golashkata Peshtera is а natural monument with Ordinance № 1141 from 15.12.1981 by the Committee for Natural Environmental Protection at the Council of Ministers.

"Golashkata cave" is located in the area "Osmansko dere" - 4-5 km. away of village of Golak and about 15 km. away from town of Kostenets. This is not a natural cave but the old mining gallery used hundreds of years ago (according to some theories - even before the Ottoman rule), so the cave is not part of the cave complex and is not connected with other caves.
