Second World War 1939-1945, barracks
Now redeveloped into farm worker housing, this area was originally barracks, mess halls, and other buildings. A 1948 aerial shows some of the barracks buildings were removed, and possible repurposed. By 1955, almost all of the original WWII-era buildings were gone.
