One of two built here in the late 1920s. One station served the two 12-inch long-range guns at Battery Closson, Fort Kamehameha while the other served the railway mortars on the Leeward Coast. During WWII, these stations were reassigned to the Browns Camp 8-inch railway battery and Battery Salt Lake, Aliamanu Crater respectively.
