190-foot, 20-story Art-Deco residential building completed in 1931. Designed by Nathan Korn, it is clad in buff-colored brick. The ground floor is white-painted stone with metal-and-glass storefront and a central entrance with glass double-doors below a rounded, dark-grey canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk and a dentiled cornice. At the north end there is a grey metal serviced door, and the north end of the band course (decorated with a wave motif) that caps the ground floor, but is obscured along the rest of the facade by the storefront signage.
The upper floors have a center bay of double-windows, and two outer bays of double-windows on either side. To the immediate north of the center bay is a very narrow windows, with another two to the south. The 3rd floor is capped by a scalloped band course. There are small, stone diamond-shapes in between the 2nd & 3rd floors at each bay, and the center bay has a stone surround at the 2nd floor. There are terra-cotta medallions between each floor at the outer bays beginning above the 3rd floor.
The ends of the facade set back above the 16th floor, spanning across the end bays and half the next bay, fronted by projecting balconies. Another setback with narrower balconies is above the 17th floor, and the middle of the facade sets back above the 18th floor, with a wider balcony.
The south elevation has a bay of single-windows at the front, with the remnants of a painted advertisement across the middle. The rear, west-facing facade has a number of cascading setbacks, such that the west end of the south facade narrows toward the top. The north elevation is similar to the south.
The building contains 119 apartment units. The ground floor is occupied by Amsterdam's Convenience, Metro by T-Mobile wireless store, Broadway Javi's Bike Shop, and Prevail Pharmacy.
