5-story residential/church building completed in 1900. Designed by Thomas H. Poole, it houses the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, who run the neighboring Holy Name of Jesus church and school. The facade is clad in beige brick with limestone trim above a limestone basement level.
A low stone stoop leads to the entrance in the center, with a paneled wooden door below a transom in a pointed-arch surround with trefoils within the corners of the drip molding above it. To either side is a single-window with a separate transom, both surrounded by keyed stone surrounds. There are also stone quoins at the edges of the facade. The limestone cladding from the basement extends up to the tops of the stoop's sidewalls. There is a basement window on each side, and the areaways are enclosed by low, rough-faced stone walls topped by iron fencing.
The upper floors are all set off by stone string courses, with triple-windows in keyed stone surrounds. The 2nd floor also has separate upper transoms. The facade is topped by a stone cornice surmounted by a brick roof parapet with a stone coping.
The east facade is also clad in brick, painted dark-brown at the rear section. It has several bays of single-windows with segmental-arched brick lintels. The front bay is bricked-in at the top two floors.
