150-foot, 15-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1926. Designed by Goldner & Goldner, it is clad in buff-colored brick above a banded limestone ground floor with a granite water table - pink granite on the west facade along the avenue, and higher, brown granite on the south facade on 91st Street.
The main entrance is centered on 91st Street, with glass-and-metal double-doors and a fanlight recessed in a arched molding and covered by a rounded, grey canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. The entry is flanked by paired pilasters topped by an entablature with pairs of triglyphs at the ends and "MIRABEAU" carved in the center, all surmounted by a modillioned cornice with a balustrade at the 2nd floor. To the left the ground floor has no openings other than a plate-glass show-window at the west end. To the right there is a single-window, a bay of paired windows, a double-window, and another bay of paired windows. The far east end has a black metal service door.
The upper floors on the south facade have seven single-windows in the middle, flanked by a paired windows bay, a double-window bay, and another paired window bay on either side; the double-windows have black iron mullions. At the 7th, 9th, and 11th floors, the east window at the inner paired window bay on the west side, and the western of the center single-windows are joined together in 3-window bands. The 2nd floor has light banding in the brick, and is topped by a terra-cotta band course with alternating fleur de lis-esque crowns and rosettes, above a leafy molding. The center bay and the end bays at the 3rd floor have stone surrounds with triangular pediments. There are brick quoins at the edges of the facade, up to the 13th floor, and a stone band course below the 14th floor. Projecting stone balconies front the end bays at the 13th floor. At the top two floors there are vertical, ornamented terra-cotta bands at the corners and flanking the end bays and middle three bays. The end bays and center window have stone surrounds at the 14th floor, with cornices, and there are two stone spandrel panels between the 14th & 15th floors at the windows on either side of the center window. The facade is crowned by a beige stone roof cornice with modillions and dentils.
The ground floor along the avenue has some plate-glass storefront windows and glass doors (with angled, grey canvas awnings), a black metal service door at the center, and a 1-story extension at the north end with another set of glass doors. The upper floors end bays with paired windows, next to double-windows. The middle section has two narrow single-windows, followed to the south by paired narrow single-windows, and a bay of tripartite windows. The stone and terra-cotta ornament matches that seen on the south facade.
The north facade is split by a narrow but deep light well, with the eastern wing somewhat set-back. The north facade is clad in beige brick, except for a return of the darker, buff-colored brick at the west end. The west wing has a bay of single-windows near the west end, followed by smaller bathroom windows, and two bays of paired windows. The east wing has paired windows at the west end, followed by a double-window bay, then a more set-back section with another double-window and two single-windows.
The east elevation has a shallow light well at the center, with three window bays. The north section past the light well has two bays of single-windows. There are no openings on the short south section.
The building was converted from apartments to condos in 2013, with 96 units. The ground floor along the avenue is occupied by Brilliant Veterinary Care, 653 Amsterdam Convenience store, and Concerned Dental Care.
